The landscape has changed a lot in the short time since we left Yukon. The trees and bushes shine in bright autumn colors.
We achieve
Burwash Landing
which contains the largest gold pan in the world. This is where the Kluane gold rush took place.
As we discovered on our trip, there are still many people who fell prey to the gold rush. It's good we didn't find any gold in Dawson City on the Klondike River, otherwise we might still be sitting there 😊
The further route leads about 50km on Kluane Lake
along.
A short detour brings us to the Ghost Town Silver City.
There is not much more to see in the place. We continue towards Watson Lake and spend the night at a rest area on Hwy.
Shortly before Watson Lake, we leave Alaska Hwy and turn onto Cassiar Hwy # 37. After a few kilometers this leads out of the Yukon
