Haffkrug / Mölle

Haffkrug

The plan was to go to Fehmarn and spend the night there.

We got through to Hamburg quickly, then we got stuck in traffic. According to the news, it was 17km long. There was hardly any progress. So the next exit down, criss-cross through Hamburg and 20km further back onto the autobahn.

The next traffic jam was announced for the bridge to Fehmarn. In addition, the bridge was closed to teams and trucks. Is our 4.5t Womo a truck in this case?

We decided not to drive to Fehmarn anymore, but to head for the next best campsite. That was in Haffkrug.

The weather was "mixed" all day. But since it didn't rain in the evening and we wanted to stretch our legs a bit, we took a short walk to the beach.

We discovered that our waste water tank is leaking. A stopper has literally dissolved. Well, that's just a minor problem - put the bucket under it, done! It will be repaired later at home.

Mill

It went on to Helsingor. On the way we had these interesting vehicles in front of us.
In Helsingor we drove into the assigned waiting lane for the ferry. The Baltic Sea was now so agitated that the spray splashed right up to the window. The crossing was even more "bumpy" than the first and I hoped that everyone had put their hand brakes on the vehicles.

We reached Helsingborg without having to swim :-)

Since we had already seen Helsingborg in 2008, we drove on to our first destination Mölle. We stopped at the first campsite we found near our destination.

Again it had rained almost non-stop and so we spent the evening in the mobile home. We postponed the visit to the Kullaberg until the next day.

The morning started again with rain. But after breakfast it had slackened and we toured it Kullaberg. A great vantage point, even in this bad weather.
