Bamberg/ Würzburg

Bamberg - 3.10.08

Drive to Bamberg. Here we had a parking problem for the first time. There are many parking garages that we just can't use. The parking spaces on the streets were for buses. It would probably have been better to park at the train station and use public transport if necessary. Or maybe it was just a holiday that made the city so full.

The old town of Bamberg has the largest intact historical city center in Germany, is absolutely worth seeing and is a World Heritage Site.

Wurzburg

We drove on to Würzburg and threw ourselves into the next city tour. The promenade, the old town and above all the residence (built 1719 - 1780), which is also a World Heritage Site, should be seen.

Anschließend suchten wir uns einen Campingplatz nahe der A3, um noch einmal zu übernachten.
