Belleville-sur-Saône / Cadaqués

Belleville-sur-Saône

The journey goes without further incident when the sky is overcast. The temperatures are ideal for driving. Around 7 p.m. I look for the next campsite on my smartphone. On the way there, however, we discovered a sign that said there was a motorhome parking space.
In Belleville-sur-Saône, Rue du Vivier 46 ° 06'23.1 "N 4 ° 45'16.2"There are some parking spaces. Part of it is already occupied, but we can get another one too. After dinner we walk to the nearby lake and then spend a quiet night.

Cadaqués

The coffee machine does not work. Great, I can really use that in the morning! :-(
Light doesn't work either. The battery is empty. Reinhard quickly found out why that was: Our brand new refrigerator did not turn off. It is on medium level and should actually turn off when it has reached temperature, but it runs and runs and runs. We put it down to level 3 in the hope that it will turn off in between. Since Reinhard doesn't trust the thing, he is in favor of using electricity for the entire vacation.

We are flashed!

Speed limit for vehicles over 3.5t to 80km / h. We have just 85km / h on the speedometer. Oops!

Otherwise, the journey goes without any special incidents. At Figueres we leave the motorway and continue on smaller roads. We reach Cadaqués via serpentines with beautiful views again and again.

In the second attempt we also find the campsite.

There is also a large free car park opposite. Mobile homes are allowed there, however Not stand overnight.

Narrow streets lead past the parking lot down into town.

When checking in, I have to show both of our IDs, which are scanned. That will be on all Spanish campsites handled this way.

There is a market on the promenade that is well attended. Mainly cheese, fruit and handicrafts are offered
After dinner we go back to the village and now it's quiet. The Spaniards who spent their weekend here have left.
