And again we gave ourselves 2 days to the sweet lounging.
In the evening a thunderstorm suddenly broke up that the first gust of wind cleared the table. The 2nd wanted to remove our sun sail, which we did ourselves in the sudden onset of heavy downpours. We got to know our neighbor, a Dutchman (of course, 97% of the holidaymakers here are Dutch), who is a captain of Rhine shipping. I also spoke to an elderly couple who had an Austrian license plate on their motorhome. I was amazed when they answered me in English. They had only borrowed the mobile home in Austria. They were actually from New Zealand and vacationed in Italy every year. At that time it is winter in New Zealand and it is then too uncomfortable for them.

After careful consideration, we decided not to try Lake Garda in the first place. It was probably just as crowded there as it was on Lake Maggiore. One of our favorite destinations was actually Verona. But that day it was so hot that we didn't want to do a city tour. I regret that a little today, as Verona is said to be very worth seeing.
We drove past Venice onto the headland. Again, there were problems with a place. The large seats waved off as we didn't have a reservation. So we looked for a smaller place and found it. The place was ok, only the sanitary facilities weren't great.
We got tickets for the bus and ferry to Venice at the campsite.
