Bremerhaven
Bremerhaven - autumn 2017
Es ist immer noch windig, aber nicht mehr so stark wie gestern. Trotzdem bevorzugen wir den Weg über Landstraße. Überall unterwegs sehen wir Aufräumarbeiten: Umgefallene Bäume werden von der Straße geholt, heruntergefallene Äste eingesammelt. Wir sind froh, gestern nicht weitergefahren zu sein.
Wir fahren bis Nordenham und setzen mit der Fähre über. Der Stellplatz
ist gleich in der Nähe des Anlegers.
Wir wollen uns gleich auf den Weg machen, Bremerhaven zu erkunden, aber kaum sind wir 10m vom Wohnmobil entfernt, fängt es an zu schütten. Wir beeilen uns, zurück zu kommen, sind aber sofort durchnässt und müssen uns erst einmal umziehen.
Eine halbe Stunde später: Die Sonne scheint! Also: 2. Versuch.
Ein Stück Skyline von Bremerhaven:
In the museum harbor there is a submarine and the "Seute Deern", the largest surviving wooden cargo ship in the world.
We leave the climate house on the left and continue along the water. We reach the harbor, a zoo with interesting architecture, office buildings (presumably), the Simon Loschen lighthouse, built in 1853 and finally the marina.
Far to the north is the Pingel Tower, a pretty, eye-catching lighthouse from 1900.
As you can see from the pictures, the weather is constantly changing again. Sun, rain and wind and sometimes everything at the same time.
We get a short shower and a rainbow as compensation.

An der Schleuse "Neuer Hafen" legen wir eine kleine Pause ein.
We arrive back at the Klimahaus and are undecided whether we should visit it. At the checkout we are told that the house will close in 2 hours. You need at least 2 hours for the normal tour and at the moment there are still special exhibitions.
Our feet say: NO! :-)
We do without and instead visit the Columbus Center briefly to buy a little something.
Es reicht für heute, wir gehen zurück zum Wohnmobil und freuen uns, die Füße hochzulegen.
