Wir haben nur noch 2 Tage bis zur Abfahrt der Fähre. Sollen wir uns Glasgow ansehen oder nicht? Wir entscheiden uns dagegen. Stattdessen fahren wir an die Küste Richtung Culzean Castle KA19 8LE. Ich genieße die Fahrt und die schöne Aussicht. Das Wetter weiß mal wieder nicht, was es will: Blauer Himmel rechts, dunkle Wolken links und ab und zu ein wenig Regen. 

An der Rezeption zu Culzean Castle und Park schaue ich mir die Preise an und schrecke zurück. Eintritt pro Person 15,50 GBP. Das wären für uns zusammen über 41,-€ und das ist es uns nicht wert.

We are looking for a campsite and that is proving to be a little difficult today. Here on the A 75 there is a "campsite" posted from time to time. The first turns out to be a place that rents out mobile homes. The 2nd place is the same. In 3rd place the reception is not occupied. A sign says that you can stand somewhere and report the next day. We choose a place and I pack up my shower things. But then I am faced with a problem: I need a code for the sanitary building. There is no one in sight that I could ask.

We go on. Another sign. This time we drive about 8 miles through the pampas and come across a remote beautiful campsite. The place is large, but not very busy. There are more rabbits here than campers at the moment.
