We drove on to Les Andelys and found a nice campsite there on the Seine. (English was even spoken at the reception).
Paris was really beautiful and interesting, but now we enjoyed the peace and quiet here.
Chateau Gaillard
is a ruined medieval fortress. It was built by Richard the Lionheart, King of England. (1196-1198).
With the mobile home we could drive to a parking lot near the castle or castle ruins to visit them.
Now we wanted to continue to the sea. Unfortunately Dieppe turned out to be gray on gray, so we didn't stay long.
Further along the coast we looked for a campsite. Here we had the problem that in many places only trucks up to 3.5t were allowed. But our Womo has a total weight of 4.5 t. A little unnerved, we moved a bit away from the coast and found what we were looking for in Cany-Barville.
For the 1st time we stayed at a municipal campsite and were pleasantly surprised. Picobello clean and inexpensive.
