Nile cruise 2006/2007

We want to go!

Christmas is just around the corner, plus my 50th birthday and Michael's 15th birthday. So why not pack your bags and escape it all?

However, I have special requests. If Egypt, then please also with pyramids and sphinx. So at least 1 day in Cairo must be on the program, then the Nile cruise and then a few days beach vacation. I find a provider on the Internet who can handle all of my needs and we book.

The photos were taken with an old digital camera. All slides taken by Reinhard are largely ruined by the constant x-rays at airports, museums, etc.

Düsseldorf Airport: departure time 3:15 p.m., arrival in Cairo 8:30 p.m.

We are at the airport on time - the plane is not!

We get meal vouchers and try to spend the afternoon as well as possible. A ride on the SkyTrain cable car brings a little variety. Likewise, a visit to the viewing terrace. But we don't stay here long - it's December 22nd and it's winter in North Rhine-Westphalia. That means: bad weather.

At around 8 p.m. we are finally on the plane. We arrive in Cairo in the middle of the night and are at the hotel around 3 a.m.
